Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mike Puska (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcel Cerdan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Puska's entrance music is You Ain't Stoppin Me !!!! . A fine choice. Cerdan is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by French National Anthem. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Puska!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 2 - 1, fighting out of London, Marcel Cerdan!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cerdan misses the shot to the body.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Puska lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Cerdan has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Cerdan and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Puska bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Puska avoids the body shot from Cerdan.
Puska shoots in looking for a takedown. Cerdan tries to sprawl out of it but Puska keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cerdan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Cerdan throws a looping overhand right but Puska ducks down to avoid it.
Cerdan clobbers Puska with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Cerdan lunges at Puska with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Puska's hand.
Puska fails with the takedown.
Puska bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Cerdan misses with a two punch combination.
Cerdan misses with an uppercut.
Puska looks for a takedown but Cerdan sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Puska. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cerdan comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Puska has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Cerdan finds it's way round the side to connect with Puska's head.
Cerdan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Puska looks to score with a jab to the body but Cerdan is just out of range.
Marcel Cerdan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Puska scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Cerdan is defending against the submission attempts here by Puska.
Puska trying to control from half guard but Cerdan is working away.
Cerdan wants to get back to his feet.

Puska is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Cerdan defends it well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Puska wants to control but Cerdan is keeping him busy.

Cerdan is trying to stand back up but Puska is controlling him
Puska wants to advance to full mount but Cerdan doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Puska trying to control the position from guard on top but Cerdan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Puska drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Cerdan dives on top into guard.
Puska looking for a sweep. Not yet Puska, not yet.
Puska is working hard here to advance position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Cerdan tries to stand but Puska is controlling from the bottom.

Cerdan is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Puska has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Cerdan is looking to defend but Puska has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Cerdan! Puska pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Cerdan taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Mike Puska!
Mike Puska very nearly forgot to thank ANABOLIC **160** LAUNDRY amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
