Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Frank Palmeri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eduardo Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Palmeri comes to the cage accompanied by dragon rider. Silva has chosen X is Coming as his entrance music. Eduardo Silva struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 157.4lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Eduardo Silva was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Frank Palmeri! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Eduardo Silva! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Palmeri doesn't manage to clinch there - Silva circles away.
Palmeri fails to land with a series of punches.
A chopping leg kick lands by Palmeri. Silva keeps the fight on the outside. Silva blocks a head kick by Palmeri.
Silva looking for a takedown here - he's got it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Silva tries to free his leg and advance position but Palmeri is retaining full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Palmeri wants to get back to his feet but Silva is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Silva showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Palmeri looking to control.

That's one minute gone in the round. Silva is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Palmeri stuffs the takedown. Palmeri shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Silva defends it nicely. Palmeri gets a double leg takedown into Silva's guard. Silva looks gassed! Palmeri trying to control but Silva is working from the bottom. Silva wants to improve his position but instead Palmeri has moved into half guard.
Palmeri is thwarting Silva's attempts to control the position. Silva is looking for a sweep. Palmeri is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Palmeri wants to control but Silva is keeping him busy. Silva is pressing down on Palmeri's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Silva looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Silva has a closed guard, preventing Palmeri from standing up. Silva keeping moving, preventing Palmeri from controlling successfully. Palmeri is posturing up here but Silva has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Palmeri tries to roll out but it's too tight and Palmeri has to tap! Slick submission there by Silva!
