Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mike Faucette (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Davis Bushby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bushby is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: DMX - Bad Boy. Davis Bushby has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Faucette!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Davis Bushby!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, John Roberts and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bushby tries to bum rush Faucette with a series of wild strikes but Faucette uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Faucette has taken the fight to the clinch.
Bushby misses with a body punch.
Faucette crunches a lovely knee into Bushby's ribcage.
Faucette is stalling here.
Faucette escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Faucette tries to clinch there but Bushby circles away.
Faucette throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Bushby will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bushby tests Faucette's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Bushby shoots in looking for a takedown. Faucette tries to sprawl out of it but Bushby keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Faucette manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Bushby scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Faucette swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Good standup being displayed there by Bushby as he connects with a hook.
Bushby lands with an overhand left.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Faucette lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Bushby has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Bushby and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Bushby shoots for a double leg takedown but Faucette sprawls well. He's pushed Bushby's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Bushby lands with an overhand left.
Faucette stuffs the takedown attempt from Bushby. Bushby gets slowly back to his feet.
Mike Faucette has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Davis Bushby.

Bushby checks a low kick from Faucette.
Bushby fails in his attempt to clinch.
Faucette has managed to clinch.
Faucette holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Faucette breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Faucette throws out a leg kick but Bushby moves out of range and Faucette only half commits.
Bushby swats away the attempt to clinch by Faucette.
Faucette is looking to clinch.

Faucette misses the shot to the body.
Faucette throws a nice outside leg kick.
Faucette walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Bushby checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Bushby tries to bum rush Faucette with a series of wild strikes but Faucette uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bushby rushes Faucette and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Bushby can't get the takedown.
Faucette escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Faucette gets caught flat footed, as Bushby shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Bushby preventing the sweep.
Faucette is working hard here to advance position.
Bushby not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Bushby won't allow Faucette to sweep him here.

Bushby must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Faucette is looking to sinch up a triangle. Bushby throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Faucette's body to avoid the submission. Faucette has instead reached around Bushby's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Faucette arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
