Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Oliver Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Trigger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Oliver Williams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Brian Trigger! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Daniel Bishop and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Williams as Trigger shoots in. Trigger throws a head kick that misses and Williams counters with a body kick that stops Trigger in his tracks momentarily. Williams stuffs the takedown. Good leg kick by Williams there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Williams gets a clinch. Williams could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Trigger is trying to pull guard but Williams turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Oliver Williams has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brian Trigger. Williams manages to pull guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Williams is pulling down on Trigger's head. It's preventing any offense from Trigger, at least for the moment. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Williams has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Trigger can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Williams has control of Trigger's left arm, preventing Trigger from doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Trigger is working to get back to half guard.
Williams is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Trigger to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Trigger shrugs it off. Williams controlling his opponent. Trigger holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Williams tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Williams content just to control the position here. Trigger wants to control but Williams is having none of it. Trigger is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Williams controlling the position easily from mount. Trigger is controlling an arm, preventing Williams from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Williams has control of Trigger's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Trigger regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Williams unloads with some shots from mount but Trigger bucks and avoids them well.
Trigger wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Williams is persistently looking for the submission but Trigger is defending it well.
Trigger trying to control the action but Williams just sinks the hooks in. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Williams controlling from the back. Trigger turns into Williams and is now in his guard.
Trigger gets to his feet. Williams looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Williams keeps the fight on the outside. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Trigger shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Trigger looks gassed! Trigger stopping the sweep attempt from Williams. Trigger looking to sit in guard and control but Williams gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Oliver Williams dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Trigger closes this distance looking for a takedown but Williams circles away. Trigger takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
It looks like Brian Trigger has been cut. Williams looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Trigger tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Williams doesn't succeed with the takedown and Trigger counters with a left to the body. Williams tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Trigger manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Trigger fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Williams drives through and clinches with Trigger against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Trigger stops a takedown attempt from Williams.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Oliver Williams. That's going to take a lot out of him. Trigger has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Williams gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Trigger.

Trigger is breathing heavily. Trigger has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Williams uses from the top position. Williams postures up in Trigger's guard and throws a big left but Trigger blocks it. Williams not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Williams trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Williams slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Trigger keeping moving, preventing Williams from controlling successfully.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Oliver Williams. Trigger defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Williams. Trigger shoots in looking for a takedown but Williams manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Trigger's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Trigger just misses with a punch to the body.
Trigger fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Williams closes the distance and clinches. Williams utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Trigger jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Williams walks away with a smile on his face. Trigger gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. A slapping leg kick lands for Williams.
Williams tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Trigger swivels and escapes. Trigger on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Williams closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Williams lands in his opponent's guard. Trigger trying to keep a closed guard but Williams is proving a slippery customer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Williams takes a decent strike to the side of the head. Williams stays in close to Trigger's body and controls the position. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Williams wants to stand but Trigger is controlling his posture from full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Oliver Williams dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Brian Trigger's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
A good leg kick by Williams. Trigger is looking to clinch. Williams tries to close the distance and clinch up but Trigger swats him away and circles back towards the center. Trigger closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Williams did well to prevent Trigger getting side control. Trigger trying to control the action but Williams is working from the bottom. Williams is trying to maintain the position but Trigger is very close to passing his half guard. Williams is trying to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams keeps control of the position for the meantime. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Trigger throws a leg kick and Williams counters with a two punch combo. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Williams shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Trigger defends it nicely. Trigger looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Trigger shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Williams as he jumps to the side. Williams lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Oliver Williams is winning the standup battle so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Williams shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Trigger takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Williams throws a head kick but Trigger moves out of range.
Oliver Williams is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Trigger feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Trigger trying to control the position from guard on top but Williams is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Williams working a defensive guard here.
Trigger in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Brian Trigger has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Trigger throws a head kick but Williams moves out of range.
Williams fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Oliver Williams. That's going to take a lot out of him. Trigger shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Williams napping and manages to drive through into side control! Williams sneaks back into half guard. Trigger sitting and controlling from the half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Trigger passes the guard and advances to mount! Williams is bucking up trying to escape but Trigger cracks him with another couple of good strikes. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Trigger can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Williams is looking to escape. Williams tries to reverse the position but Trigger maintains control.
And that's the end of the fight! Brian Trigger comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Williams has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
