Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Rio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Matt Rio! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Andre Jenkins! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Columbo Gatti and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rio rushes Jenkins and presses him up against the cage. Jenkins can't break the clinch.
Rio lands a nice knee to the body. Rio comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Jenkins tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Rio connects with a nasty looking knee right to Jenkins's face.
Jenkins has had enough of the clinch but Rio keeps him there for the moment. Jenkins has a couple of punches blocked by Rio.
Jenkins takes an elbow to the forehead.
It looks like Andre Jenkins has been cut. Rio lands a damaging elbow. Jenkins has had enough of the clinch but Rio keeps him there for the moment. Rio drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Jenkins gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Jenkins is looking to break free of the clinch but Rio has double underhooks. Rio lands a nice elbow. Rio lands a knee to the body.
A head punch on the inside from Jenkins fails to land. Rio scores with a hook to the body. Jenkins looks gassed! Rio unloads a knee to the mid-section. Jenkins lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Rio has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Jenkins is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Rio lands a knee to the head.
Rio landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Rio lands an elbow inside that Jenkins shrugs off. Rio scores a nice knee to the body.

Rio crunches a lovely knee into Jenkins's ribcage. Jenkins is trying to break free. Rio tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Rio can't get the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matt Rio. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jenkins scores with an uppercut up the middle. Jenkins is trying to break the clinch but Rio has him pressed against the cage. Jenkins wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Rio has him pressed against the cage. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Jenkins.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rio goes for a takedown attempt but Jenkins pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
No luck for Rio with that takedown attempt. A combination from Jenkins does no damage. Jenkins drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Rio working for a triangle but Jenkins defends it easily.
Rio looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Jenkins is defending well. Rio quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Jenkins has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Rio celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
