Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, John Kramer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ryu Hyabusa!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Leandro Rodrigues and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hyabusa throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Hyabusa throws the left hand but Kramer avoids the punch easily.
Kramer misses with the combination.
Hyabusa throws a leg kick that is checked
and Kramer counters with a three punch combo that has Hyabusa backing up. Hyabusa nods at Kramer to acknowledge the strikes.
Kramer throws out a leg kick but Hyabusa moves out of range and Kramer only half commits.

Kramer tries to bum rush Hyabusa with a series of wild strikes but Hyabusa uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Kramer throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Kramer swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Kramer has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Hyabusa clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Hyabusa tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kramer was well out of range. Poor timing from Hyabusa.

That was a close second round but I would say that John Kramer will probably get the nod.

No joy there for Hyabusa, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Hyabusa has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Hyabusa tries to bum rush Kramer with a series of wild strikes but Kramer uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Kramer on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Ryu Hyabusa is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Both fighters circling a little - Kramer finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Kramer is pressed up against the cage. Hyabusa has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kramer down to the mat. Kramer avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
