And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joe fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Joe avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Joe throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jenkins's waist but Jenkins gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Joe off to one side.
Jenkins tries to clinch up.
Jenkins has managed to clinch.
Joe goes for a takedown in the clinch but Jenkins prevents it.
Leroy Jenkins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sloppy Joe.
Joe changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Jenkins fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Jenkins keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Joe looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jenkins is one step ahead there.
Jenkins drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jenkins jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Joe looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jenkins is one step ahead there.
Joe has a closed guard, preventing Jenkins from standing up.
Jenkins stands up from Joe's guard - Jenkins perhaps looking for a knockout.
Jenkins gets a clinch.

Jenkins successfully pulls guard.
Joe lands a couple of digs.
Jenkins throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Jenkins looking for a guillotine here but Joe defends easily.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Jenkins is looking for a triangle but Joe pushes his legs off easily.

Jenkins is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Joe prevents Jenkins from getting back to his feet.
Joe is in close to Jenkins's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Joe keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Jenkins's head.
Joe is posturing up here but Jenkins has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Joe tries to roll out but it's too tight and Joe has to tap! Slick submission there by Jenkins!
