The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James throws a left and a right that both miss
and Apae counters with a straight right hand.
James keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
James takes one on the button.
Apae wants to slow James down by chopping away at his legs.
Apae swings for the body but James moves out of range.
James misses with a left hand
and Apae counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Apae misses with a right hand
and James counters with a nice double leg into side control. Apae won't be happy with that.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
James is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Apae is trying to escape and James transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Apae is forced to tap! Nice work there by James! Very nice indeed!
