Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Grappler Striking (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and eric buto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). buto has chosen Little Wonder as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Striking closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming buto to the mat! buto manages to get full guard.
buto is looking to stand up but Striking isn't so interested in that idea.
buto looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
buto working for submissions but it's allowed Striking to get to half guard.
buto is staying active underneath Striking, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Striking is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
buto is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Striking pulls his head out easily.
buto is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

buto is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
