The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Donatello Bradman and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rudd shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Linguist pinned against the cage. Linguist gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Rudd shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Linguist but Linguist pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Rudd throws a series of punches but Linguist avoids them all with ease.

Rudd got a little sloppy there for a moment and Linguist has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rudd has managed to get both his arms back between Linguist's legs - danger averted.

Rudd has control of Linguist's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Linguist regains control of the situation pretty easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Chris Rudd comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Rudd has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
