Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Scott King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adson Sales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sales has chosen Lado B Lado A as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Scott King! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Adson Sales! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Hugh Johnson and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sales takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
King shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Sales is working to get back to half guard.
BOOM! King connects with a massive shot to the dome!
It looks like Adson Sales has been cut. King pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sales slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. King seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. King is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sales wants to get back to full guard. King thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Sales's head. The fighters are battling for position here. Sales manages to regain full guard. Nice work. King trying to control the position from guard on top but Sales is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. King trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. King wants to control from the top but Sales keeps moving. King is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. King slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. King trying to control the position but Sales is working away. King scoring with punches from side control. King looking to control but instead Sales has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! King wants to control but Sales is keeping him busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sales wants to get back to full guard. King missing with the ground and pound from half guard. King throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. King is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Sales defends it well. Sales is staying active underneath King, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Sales wants to get back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Sales is trying to get back to full guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. King connects with a nice short shot to Sales's temple. Sales is trying to get back to full guard. Sales looks gassed! King tries to pass the half guard into mount. Sales knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. King wants to control but Sales is keeping him busy. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. King lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. King lands a nice short elbow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Scott King dominated that round. The cut man is working on Adson Sales's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Sales fails with the takedown and King counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Sales shoots and misses and King connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. King looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. King throws a body kick that misses. King ducks down and throws a hook to the body. King lands a really nice looking cross but Sales seems unphased.
King connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Sales has his takedown stuffed and King counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Scott King has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adson Sales. Sales is breathing heavily. King decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! King drives through with a takedown into Sales's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. King controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. King in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. King throws a big elbow that misses. King has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. King connects with a couple of short punches. King looking to pass the guard. King decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Sales, up you get! King throws a low kick but Sales avoids it. King closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Sales did well to prevent King getting side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. King is keen to just control but Sales is a slippery customer. King is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Sales is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. King working the head and body with strikes. Nice strikes from King there. This has been an exciting period of action! Sales is not content to let King control the position. Sales is looking to get back to full guard here but King has managed to pass to side control instead. King working the body and head with strikes. King working the head and body with strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. King thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Sales takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
King trying to control the position but Sales is working away. Scott King overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. King tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no King has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! King is staying tight to Sales's torso, preventing him from escaping.
That's four minutes gone in the round. King trying to control the action but Sales is working from the bottom. King tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no King has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Sales is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked King off and has taken his back! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Scott King dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Adson Sales's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
King shoots in and bounces Sales off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. King won't allow Sales to get back to his feet. King wants to control from the top but Sales keeps moving. King working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. King is sitting in close to Sales's body. Sales has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! King is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, King is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Sales.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Adson Sales! A less than humble Adson Sales misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
