PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Royler Bot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Bradshaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Royler Bot!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyson Bradshaw!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bot misses with a body shot
and Bradshaw counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Bradshaw throws a nice looking combination but Bot bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Bot scores with a spinning back kick!
Bot is looking to slow Bradshaw down with leg kicks.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Bot, right into the meat.
Bot throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Bradshaw.

Bot looking to score a takedown here. Bradshaw is defending well but Bot drives through and ends up in Bradshaw's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Bot with a flurry of punches that miss.
Bot working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bot turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Bot dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Bradshaw. That did some damage!

Bot drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Bradshaw dives on top into guard.

Bot is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Bot is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Bradshaw really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bot. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Bot uses his free foot to push down on Bradshaw's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Bradshaw.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bot lands a big shot there that rocks Bradshaw but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Bot is landing with some decent strikes but Bradshaw is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Bot wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bradshaw, who protects the arm well.
Bot grinds an elbow into Bradshaw's temple.
Bot looks up at the clock and then as Bradshaw takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Bot smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Bot throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Royler Bot overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Bot misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Bot cracks Bradshaw with a big right hand but Bradshaw just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Bradshaw takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Bot is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bradshaw is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Check out the look on Bot's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Bradshaw tries to bench press Bot off him but Bot keeps the position.

Bot throwing strikes but Bradshaw manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!

Bot landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Bradshaw is trying to stand.

Bot is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bradshaw is just riding it out for now. Bot eventually gives up the hold.

Bot is looking for a kimura but Bradshaw is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bot to get the leverage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Royler Bot dominated that second round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


Bradshaw stuffs the takedown.
Royler Bot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bot throws a nice outside leg kick.

Bot tries to score with a low kick but Bradshaw moves his leg out of the way.

Bot shoots for a double leg takedown but Bradshaw sprawls well. He's pushed Bot's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Bradshaw gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Bradshaw is trying to control the position but Bot postures up.
Bot wants to pass the guard but Bradshaw is keeping the position.
Bradshaw wants to stand but Bot is controlling the position.

Bot throws a strike but Bradshaw rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Bot is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Bot looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bradshaw with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Bot lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bradshaw keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Bot is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Bot is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Bradshaw has managed to free his arm - good work.
Bot takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bot is trying to control. Bradshaw wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Bot trying to control from Bradshaw's half guard. Bradshaw has other ideas though and has regained full guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Royler Bot showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Bot has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
