PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alvaro Morales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brutu Kalio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morales comes into the arena with Bad Romance! blaring out of the sound system. Brutu Kalio told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kalio slips a jab and a cross from Morales.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Morales wants to stand and escape but Kalio is having none of it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Kalio is looking to clinch but Morales is avoiding it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brutu Kalio dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Kalio shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Kalio cracks Morales with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Morales tries to hold on but Kalio pushes him away.

Kalio loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Morales scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Kalio land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Kalio stands and salutes the crowd.
