The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Williams doesn't manage to clinch there - Gracie circles away.
Gracie misses with an uppercut. Williams saw that one coming.
Horrible takedown by Gracie or perhaps it was just good defense by Williams which made him look bad.
Funku Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Gracie cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Gracie thows a body shot but no joy.
Williams with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Gracie to score with a decent uppercut.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A head kick lands from Williams that sends Gracie to the canvas. Gracie tries to scramble back to his feet but Williams brings him back down into side control.

It looks like Funku Gracie has been cut.

Williams is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Gracie is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Williams in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Gracie looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Williams turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
