The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gutt does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Myton, as that shot connected.
Myton throws a looping overhand right but Gutt ducks down to avoid it.
Myton blocks a head kick by Gutt.
Myton takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Myton avoids a kick to the body.
Gutt throws a solid leg kick but Myton takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Gutt.

and Gutt counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

and Gutt counters with a thumping low kick.
Myton throws a looping overhand right but Gutt ducks down to avoid it.
Myton is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Gutt had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Myton chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Gutt can pounce on him.
Myton moves away from the strike by Gutt.
Myton ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gutt moves away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cedric Myton dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Myton. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
