Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brian Sackett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luca Ursini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brian Sackett! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Luca Ursini! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ursini moves out of range of the body kick from Sackett.
Ursini swings away with a leg kick that misses. Sackett looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Sackett throws a leg kick and Ursini counters with a good low kick that Sackett was not able to check. Sackett plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
It looks like Luca Ursini has been cut. Ursini looks gassed! Sackett slips a straight right by Ursini. Sackett thows a leg kick but Ursini checks it and Ursini counters with a solid body kick. Sackett connects with a leg kick. Ursini looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ursini throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sackett stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Sackett throws a head kick that misses and Ursini counters with a good low kick that Sackett was not able to check. Sackett throws a wild body kick that Ursini sees coming a mile off. Ursini needs to keep his hands up - Sackett had a free shot at his head there. Sackett tries a head kick but it misses.
Sackett tries to clinch up but Ursini circles away and keeps his distance. Ursini with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Sackett to score with a decent uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round. A bone on bone clash there as Ursini blocks the leg kick.
A swing and a miss from Sackett. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Sackett!
The crowd cheers as Ursini lands an impressive looking overhand right. Sackett doesn't seem phased though. Brian Sackett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sackett fails in his attempt to clinch. Sackett throws a head kick but Ursini moves out of range.
Sackett uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ursini. Sackett moves out of range of the body kick. A slapping leg kick lands for Sackett.
Ursini avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Sackett throws a solid leg kick but Ursini takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Sackett. Ursini throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Ursini on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Sackett. Sackett obviously looking to wear him down.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sackett throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Sackett misses with a low kick. Sackett swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Ursini looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. That kick from Sackett tenderised Ursini's leg. Ursini is trying to keep his angry face on. Sackett is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Sackett throws a leg kick that misses. Ursini tries to land a front kick but Sackett steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Ursini blocks a leg kick. Sackett looks to land a body kick but Ursini moved away. Sackett clinches with his opponent.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Sackett misses with a knee to the head. Ursini blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Ursini dodges an elbow strike from Sackett.

Sackett tries to land knees in the clinch but Ursini avoids the damage to the body. Ursini managing to block the knees to the body from Sackett.
Sackett lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Ursini or not. Sackett landing knees to the head.
That has opened up Luca Ursini's cut even more. Sackett tries to work over Ursini's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Sackett lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Ursini is rocked! Sackett dips a shoulder and cracks Ursini with a mighty uppercut! Ursini falls back against the cage and Sackett unloads with a barrage of strikes! Ursini is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Sackett screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brian Sackett! After the fight, Brian Sackett was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
