Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Timmy Soupra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takada Inagaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Timmy Soupra!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Takada Inagaki!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Jonathan Paton and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Inagaki has closed the distance and engaged Soupra in a clinch.
Soupra has a couple of punches blocked by Inagaki.
Soupra throws a punch but it's blocked by Inagaki.
Inagaki with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Inagaki's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Inagaki has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Soupra uses from the top position.

Soupra is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Soupra drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Soupra jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Soupra is pushing down on Inagaki's leg trying to pass to half guard. Inagaki is fighting to maintain full guard but Soupra has managed to sneak the leg through.
Inagaki is controlling Soupra's trapped leg to prevent Soupra from advancing to side control.

Soupra is looking for a kimura but Inagaki is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Soupra to get the leverage.

Soupra is working for a kimura but Inagaki is defending it quite comfortably.
Inagaki is trying to get back to full guard.

Inagaki is trying to stand.

Soupra seems to be working for a kimura but Inagaki defends the submission attempt.
Inagaki is controlling Soupra's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Soupra seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Inagaki does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Soupra is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Inagaki is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Inagaki tries to get to full guard but Soupra has control of the leg.
Soupra wants to take a breather but Inagaki is having none of it.

Soupra is working for a submission of some sort.
Soupra is thwarting Inagaki's attempts to control the position.

Soupra looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Soupra is trying to control. Inagaki wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Soupra passes to side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Inagaki is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Soupra tries for a kimura but Inagaki is defending well.
Soupra advances to mount.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Soupra is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Inagaki is surviving well by controlling Soupra's body position as best he can.

Soupra has control of Inagaki's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Inagaki regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Inagaki tries to hold on but Soupra postures up.

Soupra is working for a guillotine from mount but Inagaki frees his head quite easily.

Soupra with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Inagaki is working to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Inagaki is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Soupra can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Inagaki is looking to escape.
Soupra mounts Inagaki! Really nice guard pass there!
Inagaki really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Soupra. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Inagaki has left one of his arms exposed and Soupra doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Inagaki screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
