Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Ackerman and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griffin with a nice cross.
Griffin bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps McCoy's head backwards.
Griffin getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
A telegraphed right hand from Griffin misses the target.
Griffin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McCoy moves away.
McCoy doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Griffin connects with a combination that backs up McCoy into the cage. Griffin lands a flurry of punches that gets past McCoy's guard. McCoy is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Griffin bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Michael Griffin!
