Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Michael Hot Chocolate! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel McFadden! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Andrew Berry and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McFadden throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Hot Chocolate throws a right and a left that both miss. McFadden closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hot Chocolate circles away. McFadden tries to keep at a distance but Hot Chocolate has taken the fight into the clinch. McFadden wants to break free but Hot Chocolate has control.
Hot Chocolate is struggling to control the position. McFadden is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Hot Chocolate is defending well for now. McFadden is trying to pull guard but Hot Chocolate turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Hot Chocolate gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. McFadden keeping full guard, as Hot Chocolate tries to pass. Hot Chocolate wants to control from the top but McFadden keeps moving. Hot Chocolate throws a big elbow that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hot Chocolate avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Hot Chocolate trying to control but McFadden is working from the bottom. McFadden is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Hot Chocolate has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. McFadden bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hot Chocolate's guard. Hot Chocolate is wriggling around but McFadden manages to pass to half guard.
Hot Chocolate looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Hot Chocolate is looking to control McFadden's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Hot Chocolate avoid being mounted?
That's two minutes gone in the round. McFadden is keen to just control but Hot Chocolate is a slippery customer. McFadden prevents Hot Chocolate from standing back up.
McFadden is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hot Chocolate sees it coming and defends easily. Hot Chocolate is trying to stand up here but McFadden is controlling him well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! McFadden looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. McFadden seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Hot Chocolate is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
