Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sami Aura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DJ Merrick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Merrick has chosen S.O.D Money Gang - Outerspace Flow as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sami Aura!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Anni Minnemäki and Johanna Lukiainen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Merrick shoots in looking for a takedown. Aura tries to sprawl out of it but Merrick keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Aura manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Aura pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Merrick fails with a takedown attempt.
Aura clobbers Merrick with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

It looks like DJ Merrick has been cut.
A nice inside leg kick there by Aura. That's going to slow Merrick down.
Aura scores with a leg kick.
Merrick throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Aura's waist but Aura gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Merrick off to one side.
Sami Aura has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of DJ Merrick.
A chopping leg kick lands by Aura.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Aura feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Merrick's calf.
Merrick looks gassed!
No luck for Merrick with that takedown attempt.
Aura scoring well with a low kick there.
Aura with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Aura, right into the meat.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Aura lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Aura feints a jab and as Merrick dips his head, Aura unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Merrick right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Merrick falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Aura smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Sami Aura!
