The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A momentary lapse in concentration from Isotalo enables Buchinsky to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Isotalo manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Buchinsky wanted to stand there but Isotalo had control of the position. Isotalo could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Buchinsky drops back looking for a leg! Isotalo is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Isotalo manages to kick Buchinsky off! Buchinsky jumps back into Isotalo's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Isotalo has a takedown stuffed. Antti Isotalo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Buchinsky swats away the attempt to clinch by Isotalo. Charles Buchinsky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Isotalo gets caught napping as Buchinsky dives in and scores a takedown. Isotalo manages to retain guard. Buchinsky is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Buchinsky missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Buchinsky is trying to control the action in half guard but Isotalo is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Buchinsky decides to stand and escape the position. Buchinsky closes the distance and pushes Isotalo back into the cage. Isotalo tries to pull guard but Buchinsky forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Isotalo tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Buchinsky smiles and moves away.

Buchinsky has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Buchinsky feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. And that's the end of the fight! Charles Buchinsky comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Buchinsky has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
