Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Royce Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Terra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by Kickstart. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Josh West and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Terra closes the distance and pushes Gracie back into the cage.
Terra working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Terra misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Gracie.
Gracie is looking for a takedown.
Gracie is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Terra pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Terra connects with a knee to the head.
It looks like Royce Gracie has been cut.

Gracie uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Terra.
Terra ducks under a wild hook from Gracie.

Terra fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Terra uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gracie.
Terra throws a hook to the side of Gracie's head but Gracie sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
The fight stays on the outside here - Terra looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Gracie on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Terra bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Terra misses with a looping left.
Terra takes a swing at Gracie's ribcage but misses.
Terra moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Terra will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Terra fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Gracie takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Terra misses with a hook
and Gracie counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Terra feints and then cracks Gracie's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Gracie down.
Terra has closed the distance and engaged Gracie in a clinch.
Gracie jumps guard but Terra stands there with Gracie around his waist. Gracie gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Gracie tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Terra misses with a knee to the head.
Gracie is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Terra to keep the fight standing.
Terra tries a body shot but Gracie blocks it.
Terra using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Gracie has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Gracie is working for takedown but Terra is calmly controlling the position for now.
Terra tries to throw a body punch but Gracie avoids it by throwing Terra back against the cage.
Terra is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Terra lands a body shot.
Gracie has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Terra after a bit of a struggle.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Terra is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Gracie is defending well for now.
Gracie has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Terra is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Terra misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Gracie.
Gracie tries to circle away but Terra has him pinned against the cage.
Gracie ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Gracie no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Terra must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Gracie is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Terra frees his head nicely. Oh but Gracie has switched to an armbar! Terra is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
