Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mondo Davidson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Micheal Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davidson comes to the cage accompanied by The Sounds-Beat Box. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mondo Davidson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Micheal Lee! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee circles away from the clinch attempt.
Davidson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lee swats him away and circles back towards the center. Lee shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Davidson's guard. Lee preventing the sweep. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lee sitting in guard here, content to control. Davidson keeping moving, preventing Lee from controlling successfully. Davidson wants to stand and escape but Lee is having none of it. Davidson trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Davidson wants to sweep but no luck. Lee trying to control but Davidson is working from the bottom. Davidson throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Davidson shoots and misses and Lee counters with a single leg into guard. Davidson didn't expect that. Davidson working a defensive guard but Lee manages to pass into side control anyway.
Davidson is trying to escape the position but Lee is controlling the position. Lee advances nicely into full mount. Lee controlling the pace for now. Davidson tries to hold on but Lee postures up. Lee controlling the position easily from mount.

Despite being in the dominant position, Micheal Lee just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Lee rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Davidson moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Lee tries to bum rush Davidson with a series of wild strikes but Davidson uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Davidson tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Lee counters with a nice double leg into side control. Davidson won't be happy with that. Lee staying calm. Davidson is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Lee trying to control the position but Davidson is working away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Micheal Lee dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Lee avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Davidson rushes Lee and presses him up against the cage. Lee drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Davidson gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Lee closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Davidson tries to pull guard but Lee won't allow it.

Mondo Davidson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Micheal Lee. Lee breaks from the clinch.
Davidson misses with a takedown and Lee counters with a takedown into side control. Davidson is being controlled here. Davidson tries to bench press Lee off him but Lee keeps the position. Micheal Lee has got the better of the ground game so far. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Davidson struggling a bit here. Davidson is trying to improve his position. You can see the frustration on Davidson's face as Lee controls the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Lee tries to advance to mount but Davidson denies him. Davidson is not content to let Lee control the position. Lee wants to take a breather but Davidson manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Lee. Lee is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Davidson is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Davidson wants to hold on but Lee pushes him away. Davidson is trying desperately to improve position. Davidson reaches up to try and control the position but Lee seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Davidson rolls and tries to escape and now Lee has his back!
Lee is controlling the position but Davidson somehow manages to roll and ends up with half guard.
Lee prevents Davidson from improving his position. Davidson is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Lee pulls his head out easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Davidson tries to clinch up and Lee counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Davidson! Lee has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Davidson's face.
Davidson can't escape the position.
Lee wants to control the pace but Davidson is squirming around nicely. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lee controlling from the full mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Micheal Lee showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Davidson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Lee keeps the fight on the outside. Lee scores with a spinning back kick! Davidson looks to clinch and Lee counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Davidson! Lee controlling from mount. Davidson wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Good control from Lee. Davidson breaks Lee's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Lee has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
That's one minute gone in the round. Let's hope that Lee has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Davidson has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Lee is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Davidson. Lee wants to control but Davidson is keeping him busy. Lee is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Davidson is looking to regain half guard here but Lee keeps moving and retains side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee working away. Davidson manages to get back to half guard. Davidson landing strikes from the bottom. Davidson wants to improve his position but Lee is controlling well.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Lee misses with a takedown attempt and Davidson counters with a single leg into guard. Lee didn't expect that. Davidson trying to control but Lee is working from the bottom. Lee seems keen to control Davidson's posture. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Davidson wants to get up but he can't break Lee's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
And that's the end of the fight! Micheal Lee comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Lee has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
