Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Stephen Speed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Musa Amagov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Stephen Speed!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Musa Amagov!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Speed misses with a series of wild punches.
Speed misses with a straight right.
Speed lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Amagov backs up against the cage.
Amagov tries for a takedown but Speed sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Speed tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Amagov was well out of range. Poor timing from Speed.
Good exchange - Speed coming out on top.
Amagov has a takedown stuffed.
Speed digs a good body shot into Amagov's ribs.
Amagov fails with a takedown attempt.
Stephen Speed has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Musa Amagov.
Amagov closes the distance and clinches up with Speed, looking for a takedown. Amagov pushes Speed against the cage but Speed circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Amagov takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Speed works Amagov's body with a nice hook.
Stephen Speed is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Speed scores with a sloppy right hand. Amagov should have avoided that one.
Amagov on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
The fighters circling - Speed throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Amagov closes this distance looking for a takedown but Speed circles away.
Amagov tries for a takedown but Speed sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Amagov tries to score a power double leg takedown but Speed sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Amagov somewhat.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Speed digs a good hook to Amagov's body.
Speed stuns Amagov with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Speed misses with a looping right.
Amagov shoots in but no luck this time.
Amagov with a poor takedown
and Speed counters with a straight right hand.
Amagov looks gassed!
Speed throws a right hand that Amagov ducks under and follows up with a left that Amagov also avoids with ease.
Amagov has a takedown stuffed.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The crowd cheers as Speed lands an impressive looking overhand right. Amagov doesn't seem phased though.
Speed lands a jab to the nose.
Speed stuffs the takedown attempt from Amagov. Amagov gets slowly back to his feet.
A jab lands there for Speed.
Speed works Amagov's body with a nice hook.
Amagov drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Speed slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Amagov takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Amagov moves forwards but Speed connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Speed thuds a left hand into Amagov's body.
Speed catches Amagov with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Amagov closes this distance looking for a takedown but Speed circles away.
Speed ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Speed cracks Amagov with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Stephen Speed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Speed listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stephen Speed dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Amagov takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Speed fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Nice sprawl there from Speed as Amagov shoots in.
Amagov is trying desperately to land a takedown but Speed is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Amagov.
Speed looks to throw the jab but Amagov is out of range.

Amagov drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Amagov drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Amagov as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Speed screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Amagov! Nice submission victory there!
