The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Baenre lands a nice hook to Bombada's body. Bombada takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Baenre fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bombada.

Bombada throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Baenre on the side of the head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Baenre tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Baenre takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Bombada wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Baenre seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Groomph Baenre.
A telegraphed right hand from Bombada misses the target.
Bombada throws a body punch but Baenre moves out of range.
Baenre pivots, looking for a leg kick but Bombada is out of range and Baenre settles back down.
Bombada swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Baenre lands a nice looking kick to the body. Bombada takes a step back to recover.

and Bombada counters with a two punch combo.
Champ Bombada seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Baenre looks for the body kick but Bombada saw that one coming.
Baenre tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Bombada manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Baenre scoring well with a low kick there.
Baenre tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Baenre throws a leg kick but Bombada checks it.

This has been an exciting period of action!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Baenre has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Baenre there as he acknowledges the shot.
Baenre throws a solid leg kick but Bombada takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Baenre.
Bombada takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Groomph Baenre dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Bombada misses with a straight left.
Bombada Rushes Baenre and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Baenre is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Bombada Piles on the pressure and Baenre crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Champ Bombada!
A very excited looking Champ Bombada rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
