Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ilkka Kanerva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack McClusky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kanerva comes to the cage accompanied by Sultans of Swing. McClusky has chosen I Stand Alone as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Ilkka Kanerva could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jack McClusky's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McClusky misses with a low kick.
McClusky tries to move into range but Kanerva moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Kanerva moves away from the strike by McClusky.
McClusky throws a hook but Kanerva avoids it easily.
McClusky throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nice uppercut lands for McClusky. That snapped Kanerva's head back.
McClusky checks a leg kick.
Kanerva fakes a jab and throws a low kick but McClusky checks it well.
Kanerva tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as McClusky checks a leg kick.
The fighters circling - McClusky throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Kanerva does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
McClusky throws out a loose jab but Kanerva uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kanerva feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to McClusky's calf.
McClusky blocks a leg kick.
McClusky looks to land a body kick but Kanerva moved away.
Kanerva throws out a powerful jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A punch lands to the side of Kanerva 's head but he takes it in his stride.
It looks like Ilkka Kanerva has been cut.
Kanerva scores with a head kick. McClusky tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
McClusky throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
McClusky throws out a powerful jab.
That's one minute gone in the round.
McClusky avoids the body shot from Kanerva.
McClusky misses with the combination.
A slow jab from McClusky misses its intended target.
Kanerva chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
McClusky throws a sloppy head kick and Kanerva moves out of range easily.
Kanerva cracks McClusky with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Kanerva throws a head kick but McClusky moves out of range.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from McClusky lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kanerva has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kanerva and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Kanerva connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Kanerva throws a head kick but McClusky moves out of range.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

McClusky tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Kanerva is able to avoid easily.
McClusky throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
McClusky swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Kanerva counters with an outside leg kick.
Kanerva dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on McClusky. That did some damage!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kanerva fakes a jab and throws a low kick but McClusky checks it well.
McClusky scores with a hook.
That kick from Kanerva tenderised McClusky's leg. McClusky is trying to keep his angry face on.
McClusky misses with a body shot.
Kanerva avoids the head kick by McClusky.
Kanerva lands with a thumping leg kick.
McClusky connects with a single shot there.
Kanerva throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent McClusky stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
McClusky looks gassed!
A decent looking cross lands there for Kanerva.
McClusky looks to score with a jab to the body but Kanerva is just out of range.
A lazy left from Kanerva finds it's target.
Kanerva throws an overhand right that drops McClusky like a sack of potatoes! Kanerva dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ilkka Kanerva!
Ilkka Kanerva really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Milwaukee's Best 160 logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
