Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Doe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dew Rain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doe kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is How could I just kill a man. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Doe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dew Rain! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Columbo Gatti and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rain shoots in and drives through. Doe sprawls well. Doe is looking to clinch but Rain is avoiding it.
Rain shoots for a double leg takedown but Doe sprawls well. He's pushed Rain's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Rain throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Doe tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Rain is in Doe's guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Rain postures up.
Rain throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Doe is pulling down on Rain's head. It's preventing any offense from Rain, at least for the moment. Rain with a flurry of punches that miss. Rain wants to control from the top but Doe keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rain throws a big elbow that misses. Doe is trying to keep Rain in close.
The ref stands the fighters back up because John Doe just wasn't active enough. Rain shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Doe trying to hold on to Rain's head to control him but Rain postures up.
Rain with the ground and pound but Doe uses the opportunity to regain guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rain postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Rain lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Rain wants to control from the top but Doe keeps moving. Rain is looking to work some ground and pound but Doe has wrist control. Doe lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Rain! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rain is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rain is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Rain regains half guard. Rain is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Doe jumps into side control! Rain manages to work his way to half guard, despite Doe's best efforts. The fighters are battling for position here. Rain manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Doe looking to sit in guard and control but Rain gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Rain postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rain missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rain forces his way into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rain scoring with strikes to the body and head. Doe keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rain is trying to work for a kimura but Doe is defending well.
Doe has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Rain is working away from the top position though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dew Rain dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Doe stuffs the takedown. Rain doesn't succeed with the takedown and Doe counters with a three punch combo that has Rain backing up. Rain nods at Doe to acknowledge the strikes. Doe jabs at Rain's body. Doe tries to keep at a distance but Rain has taken the fight into the clinch. Rain wants a takedown but no success here.
John Doe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dew Rain. Doe pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Dew Rain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rain shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Doe manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Doe is trying to keep Rain in close.
Rain with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rain postures up in Doe's guard and throws a big left but Doe blocks it. Rain loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Rain makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Rain throws a big right hand that misses. Rain landing some decent shots from guard. Doe manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Rain manages to get himself to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Doe won't allow Rain to sweep him here. Rain working a defensive guard but Doe manages to pass into side control anyway.
Rain is trying to control Doe's posture but Doe avoids it. Rain has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Rain is looking for a sweep. Rain manages to work his way to half guard, despite Doe's best efforts. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rain looking for submissions off his back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rain wants to improve his position but Doe is controlling well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rain looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Doe wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rain keeps working. Rain wants to get back to full guard. Rain is pressing down on Doe's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Rain is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Rain has his feet on Doe's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Horrible takedown by Rain or perhaps it was just good defense by Doe which made him look bad. Rain is trying hard to land a takedown here. Doe sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Rain tries to clinch up but Doe circles away and keeps his distance. An inside leg kick lands from Doe. Rain closes this distance looking for a takedown but Doe circles away. Rain is breathing heavily. Doe lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Dew Rain has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Rain tries to score a power double leg takedown but Doe sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rain somewhat. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Doe scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that John Doe will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Dew Rain's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Rain shoots in for a double leg but Doe sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Doe fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Doe scores with a sloppy right hand. Rain should have avoided that one. Doe scores with a jab. Rain fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Doe avoids it really well and circles away. Rain throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Doe's waist but Doe gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rain off to one side. John Doe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dew Rain. Doe fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Rain has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Doe looks to land a combination but Rain avoids it well. Rain misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Doe takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Rain takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Rain tries to keep at a distance but Doe has taken the fight into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Doe lands a nice shot to the body. Doe taking a breather. Doe breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Doe cracks the inside of Rain's front leg. Doe avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Rain fails to land the takedown. Doe stuffs the takedown attempt from Rain. Rain gets slowly back to his feet. John Doe is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Doe pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Rain back to the cage. Doe follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Doe clinches. Doe is defending well against a takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Doe stalling against the cage.
Doe gets a warning from the ref for wasting time. Rain is trying to break the clinch but Doe is controlling him. Rain wants a takedown but no success here.
Rain is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Doe pulls him back up using the underhooks. Doe is pressed up against the cage. Rain has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Doe down to the mat. Doe avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Nice sprawl there from Doe as Rain shoots in. Doe lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Rain has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Doe. Doe connects with a solid leg kick. Doe jabs at Rain's body. Doe drops Rain with a beautiful combination! Rain stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Doe is looking for the KO!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rain gets tackled into the cage by Doe. Doe maintains the clinch. Doe trying to stall but Rain improves his position.

Doe working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Rain has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Doe is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Doe takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Doe pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Rain dodges the punch combination from Doe.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Doe pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Rain fails with the takedown. Doe stuffs the takedown attempt from Rain. Rain gets slowly back to his feet. Rain shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Doe counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Sloppy strikes from Doe. Those never looked like landing. Doe keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. John Doe is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Doe throws a shot to the body.
Doe closes the distance and clinches.
And that's the end of the fight! John Doe showed his dominance in that final round. I think Doe has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... John Doe! John Doe spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
