Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Teco Tavares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Battlecast Urgot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Teco Tavares had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 146.9lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Teco Tavares has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Bruno Lombardi and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Urgot.
Battlecast Urgot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Urgot rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tavares moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Urgot misses with a wild combination.
Tavares throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Urgot's waist but Urgot gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tavares off to one side.
Tavares fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Urgot to the ground. Tavares is now in Urgot's guard.
Tavares is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Teco Tavares.

Urgot walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Tavares checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Oooooh!!! Urgot has knocked Tavares down with a huge combo! Urgot steps away and waves a wobbly Tavares back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Tavares gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Urgot gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Tavares is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
