The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ice Cold throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Santiago sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Ice Cold shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Santiago as he avoids it easily.
Santiago misses with a series of wild punches.
Ice Cold throws a jab but it's blocked by Santiago.
Ice Cold keeps the fight on the outside.
Ice Cold lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Ice Cold.
Ice Cold looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Santiago keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Ice Cold.

Santiago is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Ice Cold has hold of Santiago's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Santiago manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Ice Cold is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Santiago is surviving well by controlling Ice Cold's body position as best he can.
Santiago is wriggling around trying to escape.

Ice Cold is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Santiago to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Santiago shrugs it off.
Ice Cold jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Santiago manages to avoid the submission attempt.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ice Cold working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
