Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alberto Vasquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frito Lei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alberto Vasquez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 53 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Frito Lei! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Lei looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Lei misses with a series of wild punches.
Vasquez looks for a takedown but Lei sprawls well. Lei throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Frito Lei seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lei throws a right and a left that Vasquez avoids nicely. Vasquez circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lei gets caught napping as Vasquez dives in and scores a takedown. Lei manages to retain guard. Lei wants to get back to his feet but Vasquez is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Vasquez working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Vasquez wants to pass the guard but Lei is keeping the position. Vasquez slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Vasquez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lei swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vasquez wants to control from the top but Lei keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lei wants to stand up but Vasquez is controlling him.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Vasquez shoots for a double leg takedown but Lei sprawls well. He's pushed Vasquez's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Lei tries to clinch up but Vasquez circles away and keeps his distance. Lei throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vasquez closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Vasquez lands in his opponent's guard. Vasquez advances position into side control! Vasquez is looking to take a break and control but Lei is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Vasquez tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Vasquez tries to advance to mount but Lei denies him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vasquez working the ground and pound from side control. Lei wants to get back to his feet but Vasquez drags him back down. Vasquez working the ground and pound. Vasquez working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Vasquez is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Lei looks calm but he's in trouble here. Vasquez gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Lei is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Vasquez lets go of the hold and Lei can pop his arm back in it's socket.
