Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Louis Lei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lei comes to the cage accompanied by Closer. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Louis Lei!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ray King!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for King, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lei misses with a low kick as King jumps back.
Lei tries to score with a low kick but King moves his leg out of the way.
Lei swinging wildly here.
Lei throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
King misses with a looping left.
A big right from Lei misses.
King uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lei.
King takes a kick to the side of the head.
It looks like Ray King has been cut.
King misses with a wild body shot.
Ray King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
King ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
King tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lei was well out of range. Poor timing from King.
Lei closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
King pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
King clobbers Lei with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
King scores with a shot to the body.
King misses with an uppercut.

Lei moves into the clinch.
King prevents a takedown attempt there.
With the fighters up against the cage, Lei throws an elbow but misses.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Lei just misses with a elbow thrown towards King's brow.
King pushes Lei back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Lei is looking to control King's arms but King gets an underhook and turns him. Now Lei has his back to the cage.
Lei throws an elbow but it's blocked.
King throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Leis head.
King misses with an elbow over the top.
King's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Lei throws a head kick but King moves out of range.

and King counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

A nice leg kick lands there from Lei.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

King throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Lei moves into the clinch.
Lei throws an elbow but it misses.
Lei misses with a knee strike.
King using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Lei has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
King lands an elbow that stopped Lei in his tracks for a moment.
King will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Lei up against the cage.
King dodges an elbow strike from Lei.
King is pushing Lei up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

King trying to control the position but instead, Lei has worked for underhooks and has pushed King into the cage.
King lands an elbow inside that Lei shrugs off.
King scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Lei tries to land knees in the clinch but King avoids the damage to the body.

Lei creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Lei is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. King is defending well for now.

King gets underhooks to prevent Lei's takedown attempt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

King throws a jab when Lei was well out of range.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Lei pushes King up against the cage in a clinch.
King makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ray King dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Ray King seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Lei rushes King and presses him up against the cage.

Lei throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Lei goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Lei throws a leg kick
and King counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
King lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Lei tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A big right from King misses.
Lei tries to move into range but King moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Lei is rocked!
King comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

King tries to bum rush Lei with a series of wild strikes but Lei uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Lei uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by King.

King lands with a short shot to the head.

Lei has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from King finds it's way round the side to connect with Lei's head.

King is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
King creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Lei's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Lei drops to his knees and King pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

During a confident post fight interview, Ray King thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
