Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Maximus Merceli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Camren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maximus Merceli is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Merceli looking to score a takedown here. Camren is defending well but Merceli drives through and ends up in Camren's guard.
Camren not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Merceli throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Merceli postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Merceli got a little sloppy there for a moment and Camren has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Merceli has managed to get both his arms back between Camren's legs - danger averted.
Merceli keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Camren's head.

Camren is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Merceli is aware though and is defending well.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Merceli lands a couple of digs.
Merceli with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Merceli working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Merceli working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Camren's head.

Merceli passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Merceli working the ground and pound from side control.

Camren is not content to let Merceli control the position.
Camren tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Merceli wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Merceli creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Camren sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Camren is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Merceli lands a nice forearm strike.

Camren is rocked!
Merceli scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Camren is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Merceli can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
