Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Yang Morks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Trester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morks comes to the cage accompanied by The Champ. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Yang Morks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ben Trester! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Winston Howard and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Trester takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Trester scores with a jab to the jaw. Morks will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Morks blocks a jab. Morks avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Morks tries to bum rush Trester with a series of wild strikes but Trester uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A big right from Morks misses. Morks slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Trester throws a jab when Morks was well out of range. Trester misses with a hook. Morks ducked under it nicely. Trester drops Morks with a big left hand and mounts him. Morks is in big trouble!
Morks is rocked!
It looks like Yang Morks has been cut. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Morks is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Oh Morks is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Trester with good strikes from the mount here! Trester punching from mount but Morks doing a good job of avoiding damage. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Trester throwing strikes here but Morks is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Morks seems to have got his legs back now. Trester looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Trester is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Morks to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Morks shrugs it off. Trester misses with a head shot. Trester punishing his opponent with strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Morks wants to try and get back to his feet. Trester takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Trester can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Morks is looking to escape. Trester looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Morks is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Trester misses with a head shot. Trester is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Morks to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Morks shrugs it off. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Trester has hold of Morks's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Morks manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Trester lands with some strikes. Trester has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Morks's face.
Morks is trying to stand up. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Trester cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Trester with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Trester is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Morks is surviving well by controlling Trester's body position as best he can. Morks wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Trester.
Trester trying to control but he's not successful this time. Morks tries to buck Trester off but he can't manage it. Morks holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Trester tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Trester looking to ground and pound but Morks is blocking nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Trester fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Trester throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Morks really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Morks is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Trester looking to control but Morks is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Morks is trying to stand. Morks avoids a series of strikes thrown by Trester.

Morks is breathing heavily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Trester lands a big elbow - Morks is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Morks is forced to tap out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Ben Trester! After the fight, Ben Trester was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
