Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Also Zarathustra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jean Paul Valley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zarathustra's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Red Birds Will Fly Out Of The East And Destroy Paris In A Night. Valley has chosen 2pac-Street Fame as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Also Zarathustra! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jean Paul Valley! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Seu Braga and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Valley tries to clinch and Zarathustra counters with a head kick that drops Valley to the mat! Valley scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Zarathustra misses with a wild body shot. Zarathustra throws a series of punches but Valley avoids them all with ease. Valley tries to clinch up. Valley throws a sloppy body shot
and Zarathustra counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Zarathustra misses the shot to the body. Zarathustra ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Zarathustra cracks the inside of Valley's front leg. Valley shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Zarathustra as he jumps to the side. Valley shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Zarathustra but Zarathustra pushes him off and we're back to square one. Valley takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Good standup being displayed there by Zarathustra as he connects with a hook.
It looks like Jean Paul Valley has been cut. Valley fails with the takedown and Zarathustra cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Also Zarathustra has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jean Paul Valley. Valley dodges the punch combination from Zarathustra.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zarathustra throws a head kick that misses. Zarathustra misses with a wild body shot. Valley throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Zarathustra punishes Valley's body with a nice straight punch. Valley tries to close the distance and clinch but Zarathustra swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. A jab from Zarathustra finds it's way through Valley's defenses. Zarathustra thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Valley if he has to take too many more of those.
Zarathustra fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Valley manages to avoid it. Valley rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Zarathustra counters with a nice body kick. Valley looks gassed! Zarathustra lands a big uppercut and Valley crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Valley looks OK. Zarathustra waves Valley back to his feet!
Valley is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Zarathustra misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Valley.
Zarathustra stuns Valley with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Valley takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Valley on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zarathustra throws a leg kick which misses Valley's front leg but catches the back leg as Valley tries to avoid it. Jean Paul Valley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Zarathustra fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Valley looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. The fighters circle momentarily. Zarathustra darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Valley walks into a straight right hand from Zarathustra. Valley is still on wobbly legs! Can Zarathustra finish him? Zarathustra lands a big uppercut and Valley crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Valley looks OK. Zarathustra waves Valley back to his feet! Zarathustra scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Valley doesn't seem bothered though. Zarathustra drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Valley right on the button. Valley goes down! Zarathustra follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Zarathustra gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Also Zarathustra! A very excited looking Also Zarathustra made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
