Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dmitry Nugzarov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Killer Elite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nugzarov comes to the cage accompanied by Hollywood Undead-Dove & Grenade. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Jeff Smith and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nugzarov shoots for a double leg takedown but Elite sprawls well. He's pushed Nugzarov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Nugzarov tries to score a power double leg takedown but Elite sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nugzarov somewhat.

Elite throws a looping overhand right but Nugzarov ducks down to avoid it.

Nugzarov ducks straight into an uppercut from Elite and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Nugzarov manages to regain guard straight away.

Nugzarov throws a series of punches but Elite moves out of range.
Elite looks to land a right hand but Nugzarov moved out of range.
Elite misses with a straight left.
Elite throws a right and a left that both miss.
Nugzarov closes the distance and pushes Elite back into the cage.
Elite wants to break the clinch but can't.
Elite wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Nugzarov keeps control of Elite as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

A frustrated look appears on Elite's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Nugzarov ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Elite wants to stand and escape but Nugzarov is having none of it.

Elite stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Elite wants it to stay on the feet.
Elite ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nugzarov moves away.
Nugzarov misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nugzarov has Elite up against the cage in a clinch.
Nugzarov keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Elite's efforts to push away.
Nugzarov lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Still in the clinch, Nugzarov scores with a nice short uppercut.
Elite tries to break free but Nugzarov pushes him back against the cage.

Nugzarov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Elite is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Nugzarov lands with a kick to the temple. Elite shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Killer Elite has been cut.

Elite's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Elite duly obliges.
Nugzarov is rocked!
Elite is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Elite circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Nugzarov tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Elite wins by KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Killer Elite! Killer Elite retains his lightweight title!
After the fight, Killer Elite was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
