Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Travis Tucker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Askren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Travis Tucker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ben Askren! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Ryoma Takatsuka and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Askren throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Tucker was covering up waiting for the punch and Askren finishes the takedown easily into guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Askren trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Askren lands a couple of elbows. Tucker wants to sweep but no luck. Askren has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Tucker working a defensive guard here.
Tucker utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Tucker wants to sweep but no luck. Tucker preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Askren throws a big elbow that misses. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Askren works over Tucker with some ground and pound from guard. Askren working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Askren postures up and lands a big shot to Tucker's brow. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Askren accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tucker is trying to keep Askren in close.

Tucker has momentary wrist control but Askren slips an elbow through the middle. Askren with a flurry of punches that miss. Askren trying to control but Tucker is working from the bottom. Askren controls the pace of the fight for a moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Askren is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Askren postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Askren working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Askren stopping the sweep attempt from Tucker. Askren working some strikes from top position. Tucker is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tucker preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Askren with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Askren throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Tucker works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Askren lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Askren chips away with some ground and pound. Askren tries to free his leg and advance position but Tucker is retaining full guard. Askren throwing strikes from guard but Tucker blocks nicely. Askren connects with a couple of short punches. Askren connects with a couple of short punches. Askren wants to control from the top but Tucker keeps moving. Askren lands a couple of digs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tucker is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Askren chips away with some ground and pound. Askren slips nicely into half guard. Askren working over Tucker with some ground and pound. Tucker looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Askren working Tucker over with strikes.
Tucker is rocked! Askren is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Tucker! Askren lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Oh Tucker is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! This has been an exciting period of action! Tucker tries to lock up and control but Askren gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Askren lands a big shot there that rocks Tucker but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Askren connects with a bit shot that sees Tucker covering up! More strikes from Askren and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Askren is our winner by TKO!
