Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Hosea (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cody Tate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hosea might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Busta Rhymes - Break Ya Neck. Daniel Hosea looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Cody Tate! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tate moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Hosea shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Tate tries to hold on but Hosea pushes him away. Tate is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Tate is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tate tries to lock up and control but Hosea gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Hosea content just to control the position here. That's one minute gone in the round. The referee warns Tate that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hosea lands a big shot there that rocks Tate but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Hosea lands a big elbow. Hosea wants to finish this one by submission but Tate is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Hosea. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Daniel Hosea dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Tate lands a lovely overhand right. Tate shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hosea but Hosea pushes him off and we're back to square one. Tate changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hosea looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Tate is working Hosea over with some ground and pound from side control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Tate wants to control but Hosea is keeping him busy. Tate looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tate trying to control the action but Hosea is working from the bottom. Tate tries to stand but Hosea is controlling his head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Hosea is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Tate is controlling him well. Tate is looking to take a break and control but Hosea is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Daniel Hosea overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Hosea wants to get back to his feet but Tate drags him back down.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tate in side control lands a decent elbow. Tate postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Tate tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Tate in side control, just content to control the action for now. Tate decides to stand back up. Tate steps back and let's Hosea get back to his feet. Daniel Hosea seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hosea shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Hosea was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Tate is working to get back to half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Tate sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hosea drops an elbow to the side of Tate's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cody Tate showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Tate shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Tate looking to control but Hosea is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Tate throws some wild stikes that Hosea manages to avoid easily.
Hosea is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Hosea is squirming around, avoiding Tate's attempts to control the action.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tate controlling the position easily from mount. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Tate with shots to the head and body - Hosea looks very uncomfortable down there. Tate scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Hosea?
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tate trying to control but he's not successful this time. Tate is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Tate won't let Hosea get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tate dominating with strikes here. Tate unloads with some shots from mount but Hosea bucks and avoids them well.
Tate tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tate lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Hosea hang on? Tate jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Hosea manages to avoid the submission attempt. Tate in side control lands a decent elbow. Tate wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hosea, who protects the arm well.
And that's the end of the fight! Cody Tate comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Tate has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
