Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ken Ewing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pall Mall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mall misses with a two punch combination.
Ewing uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Mall.
Mall throws a right and a left that Ewing avoids nicely.

Ewing drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Mall wants to sweep here but Ewing controlling him for the moment.

Ewing drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ewing jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Mall really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ewing. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ewing tries to control but Mall wriggling away.

Ewing looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Mall with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
