The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Repo misses with an uppercut. Tavares saw that one coming.
Repo misses with a looping right.
Tavares fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Repo checks it well.
Tavares looks for a takedown but Repo sprawls well.
Tavares shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Repo as he avoids it easily.

Tavares tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Repo paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Tavares fails with the takedown.
Mike Repo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fernado Tavares.
Tavares's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Repo connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Tavares scrambles back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

OH! Tavares has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Repo smells blood and charges in for the finish! Repo unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Tavares sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
