Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andre Barnes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Babcock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barnes comes to the ring accompanied by Black Eyed Peas - Imma Be. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Bruce Babcock!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, John Mangel and Bruno Hogan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnes fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Barnes stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Barnes wants it to stay on the feet.
Babcock throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Barnes's waist but Barnes gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Babcock off to one side.
Babcock connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Barnes connects with a solid leg kick.
Babcock misses the shot to the body.
Babcock ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Barnes moves away.
Babcock has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Barnes.

Barnes uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Babcock has time to react.

Barnes lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Babcock is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Barnes rather than just go for the knockout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Barnes counters with a nice body shot.

Barnes gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Babcock is looking to work some ground and pound but Barnes has wrist control.

Barnes wants to sweep here but Babcock controlling him for the moment.
Barnes lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Babcock!
Babcock really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Babcock is in a horrible position here. Barnes smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Babcock wants to control but Barnes is having none of it.

Barnes with shots to the head and body - Babcock looks very uncomfortable down there.
Poor strikes thrown by Barnes there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Barnes is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Babcock goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Barnes!
