The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Eddie Farnsworth and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hide slips a straight right by Williams.
Williams shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hide manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Williams drops back looking for a leg! Hide is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hide manages to kick Williams off! Williams jumps back into Hide's guard.
Hide avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Williams cracks Hide with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Hide is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Williams.
Hide gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Williams to score an easy takedown into full guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

and Williams decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hide's guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Williams closes the distance and clinches up with Hide, looking for a takedown. Williams pushes Hide against the cage but Hide circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Williams throws a looping overhand right but Hide ducks down to avoid it.
Williams connects with a right hand. Hide shakes it off.
Hide throws a jab but it's blocked by Williams.
Williams closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hide did well to prevent Williams getting side control.
Williams drops an elbow to the side of Hide's head.
Hide pushes Williams off looking to stand but Williams dives back in and keeps control.
Williams lands with a punch from half guard.

Hide wants to get back to full guard.
Williams stops Hide from getting back to his feet.
Williams is trying for a kimura here. Hide looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Williams wins by kimura!

In his post fight interview, Austin Williams started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
