Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balboa swinging wildly here.
Balboa lands with an overhand left.

It looks like Chris Johnson has been cut.
Balboa misses with a hook

and Johnson counters with a shoot takedown. Balboa fights it but they end up in guard.
Balboa wants to sweep but no luck.
Johnson controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Balboa is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Johnson prevents Balboa from getting back to his feet.
Johnson not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Chris Johnson just wasn't active enough.

Johnson moves away from the strike by Balboa.

Johnson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Balboa takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Johnson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Balboa swivels and escapes.
Balboa throws a shot from downtown. Johnson moves away and avoids it.
Mickey Balboa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Balboa has cracked Johnson with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Balboa lands another huge swinging hook and Johnson tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Johnson, before Balboa can land any more shots!

Mickey Balboa really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Red Bills clothing logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
