Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Welsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cro Copout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Welsh comes to the cage accompanied by Wicked. Copout has chosen you throw knee, i go home as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnny Welsh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cro Copout! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some wild striking there from Copout.
Copout connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Welsh's hands. Welsh wants to clinch up but Copout keeps it at a distance. Copout attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Welsh lands a two punch combo.
It looks like Cro Copout has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Copout avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Copout pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Welsh misses with a hook to the body
and Copout counters with a slapping leg kick. Welsh throws a nice looking combination but Copout bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Copout avoids the body shot from Welsh.
Copout lands with a hook. Welsh tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Copout clobbers Welsh with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Welsh misses with a wild body shot. Nice sprawl there from Copout as Welsh shoots in. Welsh tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Copout manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Copout connects with a body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Copout connects with a jab. Copout shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Welsh napping and manages to drive through into side control! Welsh is looking for a sweep. Welsh throws Copout to one side and escapes! Welsh drives through and clinches with Copout against the cage.
Welsh lands with a right to the head. A short uppercut from Welsh. Welsh tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Copout's elbow. Copout scores with a nice hook to the head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Welsh has a couple of punches blocked by Copout.

Welsh digs a right hand underneath Copout's ribcage. Copout let out a lung full of air as it connected. Welsh lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Welsh escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Welsh swings for the body but Copout moves out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Welsh throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Welsh thows a body shot but no joy. Welsh avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Copout looks to land a body kick but Welsh moved away. Copout misses the shot to the body. Welsh lands with a straight right. Copout didn't see that one coming. Welsh tries to clinch but Copout is having none of it. Copout misses with a low kick.
Copout shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Welsh as he avoids it easily. Welsh with a lazy takedown attempt and Copout counters with a straight right hand. Welsh fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Copout looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Welsh is looking to wear down Copout with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Welsh throws a body punch but Copout moves out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sloppy strikes from Welsh. Those never looked like landing. Copout is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Welsh swings and misses with a shot to the body and Copout counters with a nice uppercut. Copout rushes Welsh and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Welsh misses with a punch on the inside.

A short right from Welsh on the inside. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Copout just misses with a elbow thrown towards Welsh's brow. Copout slows down the pace here.

Welsh changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Copout fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Johnny Welsh. That's going to take a lot out of him. Welsh tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Copout moves out of range as Welsh strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Welsh misses with an uppercut
and Copout connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Welsh tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Copout was well out of range. Poor timing from Welsh. Welsh has closed the distance and engaged Copout in a clinch.
Copout manages to break the clinch.
Copout fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Copout uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Welsh. A slow jab from Welsh misses its intended target. Welsh takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

and Copout counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Welsh throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Welsh is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Welsh tries to clinch but Copout moves out of range. Copout uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Johnny Welsh dominated that round. The cut man is working on Cro Copout's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Copout closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Welsh's guard. Welsh looking for subs off his back but Copout has passed one foot through into half guard.
Copout performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Welsh wants to stand back up but Copout manages to pass into side control.

and Welsh takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Copout cracks Welsh with a right hand to the side of the head. Welsh on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Welsh avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Copout has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Welsh misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Copout.

Welsh misses with a shot to the body and Copout counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Welsh thinking. Welsh dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Copout lands a jab to the nose. Welsh tries to score a power double leg takedown but Copout sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Welsh somewhat. Welsh shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Copout manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Welsh postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Copout seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Copout wants to stand up but Welsh is controlling him.

Cro Copout has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Welsh misses with a looping left. Copout closes this distance looking for a takedown but Welsh circles away. Copout throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Welsh takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Welsh misses with a body shot.
Copout jabbing away but nothing is landing. Welsh gets tackled into the cage by Copout. Copout maintains the clinch. Copout misses with a short punch on the inside. Copout lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Welsh manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Welsh working a defensive guard here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Welsh wants to get back to his feet but Copout is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Welsh working for submissions but it's allowed Copout to get to half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Welsh trying to get back to full guard but Copout takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Welsh wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

Cro Copout showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Cro Copout's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Copout swats away the attempt to clinch by Welsh. The fight stays on the outside here - Welsh looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Copout ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Welsh moves away. Copout has closed the distance and engaged Welsh in a clinch.

and Copout counters by clinching up. Welsh tries to throw a body punch but Copout avoids it by throwing Welsh back against the cage. Welsh has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Copout avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. A head punch on the inside from Welsh fails to land.
That's one minute gone in the round. Copout lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Welsh backwards. Welsh is trying to push Copout away but Copout has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Copout lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Copout pushes Welsh against the cage. Copout is working some dirty boxing. Copout pushes off with a quick right hook! Welsh goes down! Welsh tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Copout moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
