5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Noobie Nooberson! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice shot lands for Nooberson. Burnett doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Nooberson getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
It looks like Robert Burnett has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A slow jab from Nooberson misses its intended target. Nooberson tests Burnett's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Burnett is rocked! Burnett ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nooberson moves away. Oh Burnett is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Burnett misses with a hook. Nooberson ducked under it nicely. Burnett seems to have got his legs back now. Nooberson moves away from the strike by Burnett. Nooberson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Burnett.

Nooberson lands a left and a right that send Burnett crashing to the mat, dazed. Nooberson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! This has been an exciting period of action! Burnett moves away from the strike by Nooberson. Burnett connects with a looping right hand.
Burnett rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Nooberson moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Nooberson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Burnett stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Nooberson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Burnett sees it coming and avoids it easily. Burnett misses with a jab to the body
and Nooberson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Nooberson fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Burnett to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Burnett looks to clinch but Nooberson throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Burnett taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 5:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Noobie Nooberson! Noobie Nooberson took his opportunity to call for a title shot in his post fight interview.
