Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hung Likebull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maximo Bertnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Likebull wants to clinch

and Bertnar decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Likebull's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Bertnar lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Likebull escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bertnar gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Bertnar is in close to Likebull's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Likebull is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bertnar trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Likebull tries to roll over but Bertnar keeps him under control.
Bertnar wants to stand up but Likebull has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Bertnar is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Bertnar is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Likebull is trying to stand back up but Bertnar is controlling him
Bertnar looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Likebull with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Likebull wants to control but Bertnar is keeping busy.
Likebull is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Bertnar slips a nice elbow through Likebull's hands, connecting with Likebull's forehead.

Bertnar seems to be looking for submissions.
Likebull is trying to control but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bertnar trying to mount his opponent but Likebull defends it.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Bertnar is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Likebull makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Likebull.

Bertnar stands up and waves to Likebull to follow him.

A nice glancing elbow lands by Likebull.
Likebull throws an elbow that misses.
Likebull misses with an elbow strike.
Likebull pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Bertnar is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Likebull to keep the fight standing.
Likebull throws an elbow but it misses.
Likebull pushes off an throws an elbow but Bertnar leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Likebull.

It looks like Maximo Bertnar has been cut.
Likebull lands an elbow inside.

Likebull creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Likebull looks to throw an elbow but misses.

Bertnar decides to pull guard.
Bertnar keeping moving, preventing Likebull from controlling successfully.
Likebull being controlled here momentarily.

Likebull thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Likebull wants to get up but he can't break Bertnar's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Bertnar has control of Likebull's left arm, preventing Likebull from doing any damage.
Bertnar tries to land a sweep but no joy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Maximo Bertnar will probably get the nod.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Likebull gets caught flat footed, as Bertnar shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Likebull looking for a triangle here. Bertnar is fighting it but it looks tight! Likebull pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Bertnar is tapping out - this one is all over!
