Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vito Puzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Riddick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vito Puzo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Riddick!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riddick moves in looking to clinch but Puzo pushes him off.
Puzo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Riddick swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Riddick misses with a jab, cross combination.
Puzo shoots for a takedown but Riddick saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Riddick scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Vito Puzo has been cut.
Puzo moves into range and clinches up with Riddick.
Riddick manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Puzo postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Puzo in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Puzo trying to control the position from guard on top but Riddick is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Puzo drops back looking for a leg! Riddick is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Riddick manages to kick Puzo off! Puzo jumps back into Riddick's guard.
Puzo wants to control from the top but Riddick keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Puzo is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Riddick is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Puzo is looking to stand up but Riddick won't let him.
Riddick utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Puzo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Puzo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Puzo is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Puzo drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Puzo as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Riddick screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Puzo! Nice submission victory there!
