Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Naoki Fujii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryu Hayabusa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Naoki Fujii could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ryu Hayabusa's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Naoki Fujii! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ryu Hayabusa! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fujii looks for a takedown but Hayabusa sprawls well. Hayabusa tries to clinch there but Fujii circles away.
Fujii tries for a takedown but Hayabusa sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Fujii looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Hayabusa! Hayabusa is in all sorts of trouble here.
Fujii controlling from the full mount. Fujii wants to take Hayabusa's back here but Hayabusa is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fujii looking to control and managing it successfully. Fujii's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Fujii swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Hayabusa is now in Fujii's guard. A big mistake from Fujii there, giving up the dominant position! Fujii working a defensive guard here.
Fujii has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Naoki Fujii just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Hayabusa has taken the fight to the clinch.

Nice takedown defense from Hayabusa. No joy for Fujii on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Naoki Fujii. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hayabusa takes the fight into the clinch. Fujii blocks the elbow strike.

Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Hayabusa is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Fujii slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Fujii stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hayabusa swivels though and keeps the full guard. Fujii showing good wrestling skills to control the position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Naoki Fujii will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Ryu Hayabusa is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Hayabusa wants to clinch up but Fujii keeps it at a distance. Hayabusa digs a good body shot into Fujii's ribs. Hayabusa drives through with a takedown into guard. Fujii looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Fujii trying to control the position here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hayabusa has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Fujii is proving hard to escape from. Fujii working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hayabusa doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hayabusa manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Fujii wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Fujii trying to keep a closed guard but Hayabusa is proving a slippery customer.

Fujii slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

That was a close second round but I would say that Naoki Fujii will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Fujii ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Fujii no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Hayabusa stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fujii swivels though and keeps the full guard. Fujii is trying to control the position but Hayabusa postures up. Hayabusa gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Fujii changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hayabusa looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Fujii advances to mount. Fujii is working for a guillotine from mount but Hayabusa frees his head quite easily.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Fujii wants to control but instead Hayabusa manages to regain half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fujii keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Hayabusa is defending against the submission attempts here by Fujii.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hayabusa is looking to escape. Fujii content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Fujii tries to pass the half guard into mount. Hayabusa knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Fujii controlling the action here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Naoki Fujii just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Fujii gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Hayabusa counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Hayabusa. Fujii has his hands on Hayabusa's head, controlling the position. Fujii had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Hayabusa is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Fujii Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Hayabusa's back instead.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Ryu Hayabusa. I think Fujii has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
