Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Stefan Hentschel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alha Dhin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Stefan Hentschel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alha Dhin!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Radbod Blank and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dhin misses with a kick to the body.
Hentschel lands with a straight right. Dhin didn't see that one coming.
Dhin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hentschel swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Dhin has Hentschel up against the cage in a clinch.
Hentschel blocks an elbow strike.
Dhin tries a knee to the head but Hentschel blocks it.
Dhin landing some nice looking knees to the body.

Hentschel swings for the body but Dhin moves out of range.
Hentschel connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Dhin tries to land a leg kick but Hentschel saw it coming and moves away.

Hentschel decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hentschel is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Dhin doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hentschel.

Hentschel is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Dhin working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hentschel doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hentschel manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dhin is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hentschel is aware though and is defending well.

Hentschel connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Dhin takes a swing at Hentschel's ribcage but misses.

Hentschel tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Dhin manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Dhin throws a push kick but Hentschel slaps the foot to one side.
No joy there for Hentschel, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

and Hentschel connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Hentschel.
Donk. Hentschel catches Dhin right on the button with a cross.

Nice uppercut lands for Hentschel. That snapped Dhin's head back.

Dhin finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Hentschel tries to close the distance and clinch but Dhin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hentschel shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dhin as he jumps to the side.
Hentschel uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Dhin has time to react.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hentschel's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Hentschel throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dhin stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hentschel, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
