Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ed Gein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Barboza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jose Barboza has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ed Gein!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jose Barboza!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Radbod Blank and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barboza slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Barboza forces Gein back against the cage and clinches.
A short right from Gein.
Barboza misses with a hook from the clinch.
Gein's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Gein looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Barboza lands a hook to the side of the head.
Gein tries a body shot but Barboza blocks it.
Barboza with a knee to the head.
It looks like Ed Gein has been cut.
Gein escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Gein throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Barboza closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gein fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Barboza lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Barboza lands an uppercut.
Barboza breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Gein ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Barboza moves away.
Gein lands a nice shot that snaps Barboza's head back.
Gein misses with a wild combination.
Gein takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Barboza blocks a jab.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Barboza throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Gein.
Barboza avoids the body shot from Gein.
Gein scores with the left hand. Barboza knows he should have avoided that one.
Gein closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Barboza fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Gein misses with a body kick.
Barboza throws the left hand but Gein avoids the punch easily.
Barboza looks for the body kick but Gein saw that one coming.
Gein on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Barboza will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Gein misses with a two punch combination.
Gein is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Gein feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Barbozas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Barboza connects with a right hand. Gein shakes it off.
Barboza looks for the body kick but Gein saw that one coming.
Barboza fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Gein throws a low kick but Barboza avoids it.
Gein avoids a punch combination nicely.
Gein connects with a body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gein walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Barboza drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Gein swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Barboza's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ed Gein!
