Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diego Diaz told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rocky Balboa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Diego Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Eddie Farnsworth and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balboa fails to land with a series of punches.
Diego Diaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Diaz misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Balboa lands a left and a right that send Diaz crashing to the mat, dazed. Balboa thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Diaz is rocked!
It looks like Diego Diaz has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Diaz slips a jab and a cross from Balboa.
Diaz will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Balboa fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Diaz manages to avoid it.
Diaz shoots in looking for a takedown. Balboa tries to sprawl out of it but Diaz keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Balboa manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Rocky Balboa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Diego Diaz.
Balboa tries to bum rush Diaz with a series of wild strikes but Diaz uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A nice combination there by Balboa.
Diaz gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Balboa counters with a crisp right hand that drops Diaz! Balboa lets Diaz back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Diaz is still on wobbly legs! Can Balboa finish him?
That has opened up Diego Diaz's cut even more.
Rocky Balboa is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Diaz misses with a takedown attempt
and Balboa counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Diaz looks gassed!
Diaz fails with the takedown
and Balboa counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Balboa connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Diaz out cold! This one is over in a flash!
